Old St Paul’s Church was completed in 1834 with the chancel added in 1843 and the transepts in 1851.

The church was to have been closed when a new St Paul’s was built in 1879 but discontentment among some of the parishioners had a portion of the congregation return to the building in 1882.   New St Paul’s became the Church of the Epiphany in 2006.
